Talent Hunt Youth Sports League


Government College Women University Faisalabad in collaboration with Higher Education Commission is honored to host Talent Hunt Youth Sports League Volleyball (Women) under Prime Minister???s Youth Programme. Director Sports HEC, Mr. Javed Ali Memon, Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza, Vice Chancellor LCWU, Ms. Salma Sadia Taimoor, Former Member of the Provincial Assembly, Ms. Hina Butt, Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Director Sports Punjab University Dr. Zafar Iqbal Butt, Director Sports LCWU Miss Sumeira Sattar, and Mr. Asif A. Malik, Registrar GCWUF graced the occasion as guests of honor. GCWUF is thankful to the Higher Education Commission for its support in organizing this mega event under PM's Youth Talent Hunt Program. The university acknowledges the HEC's special interest in promoting Sports activities in universities along with academic and research-based drives. On behalf of Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq (T.I) the Registrar GCWUF conveyed her best wishes to all the participants and thanked HEC, Vice Chancellor LCWU, all coaches, and organizing partners for extending their support and cooperation in making the event a huge success. The trials of the Punjab region continued on the second day as well where DG Sports, HEC Mr. Javed Ali Memon attended the event as a guest of honor. In the first phase, more than three hundred girls appeared in trials from various universities, colleges, and clubs in Lahore. Upcoming trials are to be conducted in Sialkot, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi, and Faisalabad.
